BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE
Looks like the PRI is going to win today’s Mexican election. My cousin Marcela, currently living in Singapore, has “RIP Mexico” as her current status. It’s a tough choice. PRI has long been known to be corrupt, but they had a better relationship with cartels, leading to less deaths. I can see why the Mexican populace may want to go back to them after escaping from their...
Went to a meeting with Matt tonight. Last time I saw and talked with him was when I stayed at his place in San Francisco for Pride in 2007. It was a shit show for both of us back then. I’ve got only vague recollections. Now he’s got three years sober and we can reconnect. Cool.

SHOW ME SOMETHING I DON'T KNOW
Stick with the winners.
So they say in AA. I don’t like it. I get why it’s said again and again - because we should ditch the people in our lives who are bad for us. Keep far from wet faces and wet places. Follow the lead of the people who have an honest and good sobriety. I still don’t like it. I don’t like the breaking things down to a too simple black and white.
